Love, Laney proudly supports Sugar & Spice Cat Rescue.
$1 from every Love, Laney order is donated to Sugar & Spice Cat Rescue to help rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray and surrendered cats and kittens across Victoria, whether they're sweet, spicy, or somewhere in between.
Based in Essendon, Sugar & Spice Cat Rescue supports cat-loving communities across Victoria, with a special focus on rescuing and rehabilitating former street cats. Through patience, care and trust, they give frightened and abandoned cats the chance to become beloved family pets.
Since 2023, the rescue has rehomed more than 500 cats and kittens thanks to the generosity of donors, foster carers and volunteers. Every rescue means another cat is given the opportunity to leave life on the streets behind for the safety and comfort of a loving forever home.
Their mission doesn't stop there. Sugar & Spice Cat Rescue is currently renovating its facility to create a cat café and cattery, with plans to establish a low-cost veterinary clinic offering desexing services to the local community. Combined with their Last Litter Program, these initiatives aim to help reduce cat overpopulation across Melbourne's western suburbs while continuing to support cats and the people who care for them.
Thank you for your support!
This vintage ceramic is the kind of piece that makes everyday rituals feel more considered. With a glazed finish, it features a softly rounded teapot silhouette with warm caramel-toned edging and a hand-painted floral centre in buttery yellows and muted greens.
The underside appears to be signed “Pam”, suggesting it was likely made by an individual ceramicist or small studio. Pieces like this were especially popular across Australia and the UK in the 1970s–1980s, when homewares leaned into hand-finished details and decorative, kitchen-friendly forms.
Originally intended as a teabag holder, it’s perfectly sized to catch drips beside your cup. It also lends itself beautifully to other uses around the home. Think a spoon rest while cooking, a ring dish by the sink or bedside, or a small catch-all for jewellery bits and pieces.
A thoughtful find for high tea lovers, collectors of retro ceramics, or anyone drawn to practical pretties of decades past.
