Pothos plants (Epipremnum aureum), also known as “Devil’s Ivy”, are beloved for their trailing vines, heart-shaped leaves, and adaptability, making them perfect for any indoor space.
Known for their resilience, pothos thrive in a range of lighting conditions, from bright, indirect light to low light, and can grow in both soil and water. They’re low-maintenance and air-purifying, making them a favourite for beginners and experienced plant lovers alike to add a lush, tropical vibe to shelves, hanging baskets, or desks.
Pothos plants can live in water indefinitely if conditions are right and water is changed every 1–2 weeks to keep it fresh and oxygenated. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Pothos vines are low-maintenance plants that thrive in bright, indirect light but can tolerate low-light conditions; avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, ensuring excess water drains to prevent root rot. They prefer moderate humidity and temperatures between 18–30°C, away from cold drafts. Use a well-draining potting mix and feed with a balanced houseplant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. Prune long vines and remove yellowing leaves to encourage bushier growth
