Vintage Amber Carnival Glass Dessert Coupe Trio
A gorgeous trio of vintage amber glass dessert coupes with a beautiful golden glow and an iridescent finish that shifts between copper, pink and subtle rainbow tones in the light.
Featuring fluted bowls, gently flared rims and elegant pedestal stems, these little beauties have all the character of classic mid-century entertaining.
What makes this set particularly special is the reflective carnival glass finish, which extends all the way down to the base of each glass. Unlike many similar examples, where the iridescent effect is largely confined to the bowl, these have that lovely lustrous sheen throughout.
Estimated to date from the mid-20th century, possibly the 1950s to 1970s, these pressed-glass coupes have a wonderful retro feel. Their exact maker and country of origin are unconfirmed, although similar iridescent glassware was produced by manufacturers in Australia, Europe and the United States.
They would look right at home at a 1970s-inspired dinner party, a vintage wedding or a beautifully styled dessert table.
Perfect for serving ice cream, mousse, fruit salad or other little treats, they could also be used for nuts, olives and sweets when entertaining.
Equally lovely displayed in a vintage glassware cabinet, these are the sort of pieces that make everyday moments feel a little spectacular ✨

Expected wear to the bases, including a couple of very small, barely detectable chips on the thin side of the bases. Some discrete fold lines exist in the pressed glass, present since time of production. Though belonging to the same set, their height varies very slightly, and one is marginally darker than the others. Please refer to image carousel. More photos and videos available upon request.
