A sweet little piece of Dutch nostalgia, this vintage Elesva Holland Delft-style bell is painted in classic cobalt blue and white, with a windmill scene wrapped around its gently flared porcelain form.

Turn it around and you’ll find a pretty leafy motif on the reverse, while the glossy blue handle echoes the rich Delft blue throughout.

Marked Elesva Holland 829 on the base with an estimated vintage of mid 1960s, it has all the quaint character of a little Holland souvenir, made to be admired from every angle.

It feels right at home amongst a collection of blue and white ceramics, tucked onto a shelf, or sitting pretty on a bedside table.

The bell interior has a working white glass clapper set quite high up the string, producing a charming jingle with a firm swing.
